Here are the answers to some frequently asked questions on the CSLI Summer Internship Program.

Q: I've applied for the internship program but I haven't gotten a response yet? Am I accepted?
A: We're reviewing all applications and will make a decision and notify all applicants by mid-February.

Q: I'm a recent college graduate looking to go to grad school later, am I eligible?
A: Yes, you are eligible to apply. While rising juniors and seniors are preferred, we welcome all applicants to the program.

Q: Will the internship for 2022 summer be remote or in person?
A: It is very much likely to be in person! We are planning to provide stipend and housing.

Q: If I get the internship (assuming that the internship is in person), is there housing available on campus or will I need to find an apartment in Palo Alto?
A: We provide on-campus dormitory housing.

Q: I have another offer that I need to accept, can I get an early decision on my application?
A: No, we do not give early decisions. The CSLI program is very competitive to join. We review all applications at once to give everyone a chance to become a part of our program.

Q: I am not a US Citizen but I am studying abroad in the US for a year at a US university, am I eligible?
A: You will need to have a visa that authorizes you to intern and be paid, we recommend you speak with the student services rep at your US institution to see about obtaining work authorization.

Q: I attend college outside of the United States, am I eligible for the CSLI Internship Program?
A: If you are a United States citizen or permanent resident, you are eligible for our program. If you are not a United States citizen or a permanent citizen, you must be enrolled in (or have recently graduated from) an undergraduate program within the United States.

Q: I just graduated from a US undergrad institution (or am graduating in Spring 2022), am I eligible?
A: Yes, you are eligible if you recently graduated (or are about to graduate) from an undergraduate program within the United States.

Q: I've attended two different colleges, which transcript should I submit?
A: We ask that you get transcripts from both colleges, merge them into a single PDF, and submit the merged PDF in the application.
